TREATMENT FOR THE VICTIM THAT SANK OR FALLING INTO THE WATER

Deep water for example around in England is cold temperature, although in summer. The ocean temperature is around between 5˚-15˚C and the water on the mainland is colder. The cold temperature increased the hazard for the victim and rescuer, it caused many factors as below :

• Panic and uncontrolled situation when falling into the water cause swallowed accidentally.


• The blood pressure increase suddenly, it can be a heart attacked.


• Suddenly the victim can not swim although she or he is professional bather.


• Hipotermia ca be happened if the body was stay into the water for a long time.
  

IMMEDIATELY ACTION

Objective : Take up the victim on the land without endanger the rescuer.

• The very safe action to rescue the victim is if possible keep your body stay in land and pull the victim with your hand, stick, withy or drop the rope / buoy.
• Keep stay in the land except in very urgent situation.
• Swim towards the victim for rescue action if you are adequate trained or if the victim is in unconscious situation. If possible, walking into water is better safe than swim.
• When carry out the victim from the water, the victim head position is must be lower than the chest to avoid hazard if vomit is occurred.

• Do the rescue action for the victim mainly toward the effect of cold water.
• Carry or transport the victim to the hospital, although the victim is look like better.

DOMESTIC VOLTAGE ELECTRICITY HAZARD
A domestic Electricity that we use in home, office, store or work shop can induce a fatal injury also a death. Many accident was happened caused broken switch, unisolated cable or broken on the electricity tools. The high risk can be happened with the children. Very important to remember that the water is a good conductor, hold the tools that still contain a electricity current with wet hand or stand on the wet floor can be a factor that caused shock.

IMMADIATELY ACTION

• Disconnect electricity by shut off from the fuse if easy to do it. Leave the stop contact or pull the cable until dislocation.

• If difficult to pull the cable or shut off the stop contact, another way can be doing :
  -Stand on the dry base like a plastic or stack of news papers. Use the broom, wood chair separate between victim body and the electricity source.
  -Noose the victim foot and hands with a rope without touching it and pull away from the electricity source.
  -Only for the last effort, pull the victim by hold the loose and dry clothes of the victim.
  -After isolation effort, if the victim is unconscious, check the breath and vein and preparing for the resuscitation. Lay down the victim in recovery position. If the victim is in good condition, she or he must be shock. Mandate to take a rest and continue closely monitoring the victim condition, If worrying call the doctor immediately.

High Voltage Hazard

HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICITY HAZARD
The accident caused by sting of high electricity current with high voltage cable can be a fatal injury. The victim can be burned intensely. Cram as effect from shock can dash away the victim several meters from location of accident and possible to happen another effect etc broken bone. The high electricity current can still be a dangerous thing although from 18 meters distance. The material like wood or shirt is can not protect you from high electricity current hazard. If this accident was occurred The flow of electricity current must be shut off and the unisolated cable must be isolated before it can be make further a potensial hazard. This is an important thing in case the accident was occurred on the electric train.

IMMEDIATELY ACTION
Do not closed from the victim before electricity current has shut off and isolated. Keep 18 meters minimum distance and isolated the location from the peoples.

1. Call Emergency team immediately
2. After the situation is safe, check the breath, vein and prepare for resuscitation action. Lie down the victim in rehabilitation position.
3. Treat the burn and others effect. Do the treatment from shock situation.
